Round-The-World Travels

In 1997 and 1998, after several years of planning and saving, we sold our house, Victor's car and most of our belongings. We set off on a 13 month, low budget trip around the world. We left the States in early May, 1997 from Savannah, GA aboard the container ship "Palermo Senator." We crossed the Atlantic in 11 days and started our land travels in Valencia, Spain.
