Ireland because of its wonderful combination of people, history, culture, music and pubs. Switzerland and New Zealand were at the very top of the list for sheer scenery.

France and Italy (big surprise!)

4) Did you find anywhere outside of America that you’d move to and live?

Not really. The world is a great place to visit, but I wouldn’t want to live there.

5) Did you ever get sick?

Only a couple minor colds and one very ugly bout of stomach distress for Victor (in Thailand).

Fortunately the place we were staying at the time had western style toilets.

6) Is there any country you were glad to leave?

Egypt (ML)

7) Did you stay within your budget?

We went 20% over.

8) Were you ever in fear for your life?

Number 1: Crossing streets in Cairo is a life or death challenge.

Number 2: Thai bus rides

Number 3: Meripati Airlines flight from Lombok to Bali. (You mean for $18 you expect a seat?)

9) Did you get sick of each other?

No. Only a few minor bickering sessions.
